Ground Pork ala Chef Jeremy & Old-Soldier Pork rub

At the Colorado Springs Food & Gift Show, Consulting Executive Chef, Jeremy Becker once again teamed up with the 'Old-Soldier' to create a easy to make meal using ground pork, the 'Old-Soldier Coffee infused Pork Rub, and a few simple ingredients.

This meal required 10 to 15 minutes to prepare using the following ingredients:

1/2 jar Ant D's Roasted Green chili jam

1 # Ground pork

2 TBSP 'Old-Soldier' Coffee infused all natural sodium & sugar free Pork Rub (divided)

1 TBSP Olive Oil (divided)

1/2 Jalapeno pepper chopped

1/4 Green pepper chopped

1/4 Red pepper chopped

1/4 red onion chopped

To prepare:

Blend the Roasted Green Chili jam, 1/2 the olive oil, a 1/4 cup of water in a bowl and mix. Heat a skillet on medium low heat add the remaining oil and the pork and 1 TBSP of the Old-Soldier Pork rub. As the pork browns add the remaining ingredients and at least 1/2 TBSP of the Old-Soldier Pork rub. Constantly move the pork to break up and keep from burning. Cook until the pork is cooked through approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

Serve either in a taco shell, tortilla, or lettuce as a wrap and ENJOY!!!

The only salt in the meal is from the pork itself and the sugar is from the jam. Low in fat, sugar, & gluten free.
